In other words, it's actually Do Kyungsoo's birthday which falls on the every January 12th. If you don't know who he is, his actually a member from the famous korean pop band, kpop for short, EXO. And let me tell you one thing off the bat, he is my favourite idol hands down, first place! 

Let's listen to his lovely voice while continuing : (warning sad ballad song)

In the kpop world, finding a bias(favourite) is one of the hardest thing to do. Why? There are just so many genres, style, talent, looks that cannot seem to help you decide whose the best. Every now and then, there'll be a high talent group or a badass never seen before style kinda music popping out without you knowing. Honestly, I also don't know why my top bias is a guy instead of a girl, okay actually I know why lol. Keep reading :)

First off, his super talented in ballad music, my favourite type of genre. 

Second, he acts like himself, he doesn't promote himself to be the best there is, he's just him. lol Thirdly, he ventured out to the acting world in one the most difficult script to be in, a drama that depicts the harsh world of mentally unstable and unsound people with a touching story and love lol.
The drama series is called "It's okay, it's love", the simplest way to describe it is - no matter what happens, it's okay because it's love. The story centralised around people with all sorts of mental disorders even the main lead(most interesting) & the female lead is a doctor! hehehehe

Here's a little info about his role Kangwoo in "It's okay, it's love" :

"A high school student who's a big fan of Jaeyeol's(main lead) and keeps bugging his idol to read the manuscripts he's writing, since Kang-woo aspires to become a famous author like him someday. He and his mother are frequently beaten by his alcoholic father. Kangwoo is later revealed to be Jaeyeol's younger self, a manifestation of his schizophrenic break due to trauma and guilt. Jaeyeol has been seeing Kang-woo for the past three years, ever since Jaebeom(main lead's brother) stabbed him.

His acting is just wow. Being physically abused and showing sadness while be angry/ frustrated and acting it out as a manifestation, alter ego, of your older self, whom is a arrogant famous writer. 

He also acted in a drama called cart, where his mother is an employee in a supermarket, the cart pun intended literally from the producer  lol. His role was an unstable teenager living only with his mom, that is striving hard to earn money for him, he hates it a lot that they both have to suffer so much. The main plot of the movie is when her mom and the rest of the female staff got sacked in a day with protests and strikes.... it's a fucking sad movie for god's sake. SEXIST!!!! (& why I have a feeling I can relate with him... mom I love you for bringing me up alone)

And probably the most important reason, he makes me think about myself. 

He actually the shortest in group, one of youngest and has probably the lesser strength but that doesn't necessary make him the most unpopular or weakest. He actually fancy hurting techniques like headlock, death choke, even his small fist can hurt like a bitch, no kidding. Even the older and taller ones are afraid to mess with him, his nickname is literally satan-soo. Not only that, he's very quiet, reserved and shy, doesn't talk much to strangers and will open up more comfortably afterwards.

On the actually day of his debut in the music world, he stuttered on LIVE camera because of stage fright. He reminds me a lot about myself; I'm don't really like to express myself like an extrovert, I'm more of a introvert and don't really like interacting. However if I have something I like to do, like a hobby, I'll do it, no matter how introvert I am. 

Ultimately, his is one of the role models I look up to. He inspires me that not everyone is born perfect and if you really like something, you can really do it. I'm not even embarrassed to say I'm a fanboy.

And on this day, I'm here to wish him a happy birthday, you've taught and inspired me a lot, I hope EXO will go a long way and you'll always be healthy and to do what you want to do and continue to strive hard.
