Officially Seventeen.

It's finally over, my birthday~ 17 of September and I'm officially seventeen! /throws confetti/ Shocked? Haha I've received some heartfelt messages from my close friends, I really appreciate it, thank you so much once again. -heart-
The first is non other that Kenny, he sent it at 11:59! Hul, cheater. Next was Tingting and Meihui, awwwww.
I received the longest message from Sueann, and some unexpected ones from old friends. If you even wonder why it's my birthday, I rarely tell anyone and if I did, I hope they remember. You can ask me and I'll tell you but only some will make that extra effort to send a little wish by whatever means. I'm really grateful.
So today I basically did nothing much, I mean I can't ask anyone out because no ones free :( It's school period and quite busy for a Tues-Wed period. So I had lunch at Starbucks, lol same old me. I stayed home and used the computer all day long, I live such a boring life. /hais/ Next mum took me to a nearby market hawker centre to eat western food, I believe it like a birthday celebration. Although it was cheap, we talked quite a lot. Thank you mummy! The fish and chips I ate~ with cheese fries ahhh *_*
That's it. It's super short I know. My birthday isn't something worth to celebrate on the day itself. Besides I've already receive and celebrated earlier. Therefore I will do the challenge, I think it's the last few days but I'll skip college for now.
Expectations.
Many of us have expectations from either family, friends or anybody who is older or around the same age. But I'd really say sometimes it kinda unfair. We all come from different places so there's bound to be a difference. BUT here's my point of view. - "Expectations make you want to grow, when you fail you get up; when you reached you work even harder, but it doesn't make you who you are. You also need to know why you are working hard for too. Never get depressed, let's stand up."

Expectations from ourselves are different. As there always this saying "Higher expectations leads to more disappointment" but doesn't that only happen if you fail to meet it? So don't give up! There's always this comparison of expectations vs reality. Why compare? MAKE IT HAPPEN. There's no such thing as impossible. If you don't want people to hurt you from expecting too much, do something! You don't sit there and wait for them to come back and stop hurting you. This ain't a movie, move your butt and start working! Maybe it won't work out, but what's the use of waiting? Maybe it'll work out!
Because you will rise again.
